MYAN published the Racism in Schools Policy Paper in June 2026, calling for a federally backed, enforceable National Anti-Racism Framework across all educational settings

The report stresses that racism in schools is frequently mislabelled as general bullying, ignoring its systemic nature and severe impact on students. The NPA Co-chairs presented on the key findings of the report and led a discussion about how members could practically advocate for the recommendations contained in the report.
